Chandra is a serial entrepreneur and technologist with deep experience in networking technologies, high-end computer systems, microprocessors and supercomputers. Chandra co-founded StratumOne Communications that was later acquired by Cisco Systems. During his 12+ years at Cisco, he managed the development of line cards, ASICS & network processors that powered Cisco’s $10B+ routing and switching product lines. Prior to Cisco, he was a lead engineer that developed the first 4-way superscalar microprocessor at Silicon Graphics/MIPS Technologies. He holds a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, New York.
Prior to founding Nebbiolo Technologies, Kannan was a Principal Engineer at Cisco Systems in the High End Router Group. He has 25+ years of experience in hardware system and ASIC design, CPU architecture and design, and software architecture and design at Cisco Systems, StratumOne, Zeitnet, Sun Microsystems and C-DOT, India. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Chennai, India.
As Chief Technology Officer, Flavio Bonomi is a serial entrepreneur and technology visionary, who defined the new computing paradigm – “Fog computing” and the core technologies embodied in Nebbiolo’s products. Before founding Nebbiolo Technologies, Flavio was a Cisco Systems VP and Fellow of the Advanced Architecture and Research Organization, leading the vision and technology directions for Cisco’s Internet of Things initiative. He has 60+ patents and 100+ publications. Most recently, he was recognized as one of the World’s First Top 50 Edge Computing Influencers by Data Economy. Flavio earned an Electrical Engineering degree from University of Pavia, Italy, and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University.
